Engine Room Strength

Strength and mobility for ladders, tight spaces and heavy spares — with heat in mind.

Session

  1. Goblet squat (water container) — 3 × 10
  2. Hip hinge / good morning — 3 × 12
  3. Push-ups — 3 × 10–15
  4. Thoracic rotations — 2 × 8 per side
  5. Dead bug — 3 × 10

Never train straight after hot engine-room work: cool down and rehydrate first.

Do not train in heavy weather or where a fall could cause injury. Stop and seek help if you have chest pain, dizziness or unusual breathlessness.
